Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking a Data Conversion Specialist to lead legacy data migration into a modern SaaS platform, engaging with clients to map data structures and ensure accurate transformation. You will work with cross-functional teams to design ETL strategies, validate data integrity, and document data management processes while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years’ experience in data conversion and ETL.
• 5+ years in data migration and ETL workflows, with data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Experience designing ETL workflows using scripts or tools; understand state/federal program data needs.
• Strong MS Office/analytics skills and ability to handle PII securely.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, lineage, and production move-to-prod.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis and conversion; design strategies for SaaS migration.
• Perform ETL tasks and validate data integrity post-migration.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and map data to the new platform.
• Collaborate with PM, developers, and QA for seamless integration.
• Document conversion processes and data management methodologies.
