Job summary

Public Consulting Group (PCG) is seeking a Data Conversion Specialist to lead legacy data migration into a modern SaaS platform. The role blends technical ETL work with client engagement to map data structures to the new system and ensure data integrity.

You will collaborate with PMs, developers, and QA, documenting processes and contributing to data governance and training materials. Travel and hybrid onsite work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on data conversion, migration, and ETL experience.
• 5+ years designing, building, and executing ETL or data integration workflows.
• Understanding service delivery systems for programs administered by states and monitored by federal regulators.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially data analytics (ACCESS, SQL, SPSS).
• Ability to map data requirements and guide data governance during software implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis, conversion strategy, and ETL design for SaaS migration.
• Extract, transform, and load data; validate integrity post-migration.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and map business processes to data structures.
• Collaborate with PMs, developers, and QA for seamless integration.
• Document data management methodologies and support training materials.
