Job summary

The University of Alabama at Birmingham seeks a Manager of Data Collection & Analysis to lead data collection, analysis, and reporting for a broad portfolio of research projects. You will develop and maintain databases, coordinate reports to upper management, and supervise staff in data-related activities.

Key duties include ensuring data quality, managing REDCap forms, collaborating with clinical and community teams, and supporting on-site research activities. Hybrid work arrangement available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams is required.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and Microsoft BI applications is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support data management, monitoring, and reporting across a diverse portfolio of research projects.
• Develop and maintain monitoring reports and data quality checks; manage REDCap databases and forms.
• Work with API-based integrations between apps; understand HTTP methods, authentication, and endpoints.
• Collaborate with research, clinical, and community teams to ensure accurate, timely, secure data collection and reporting.
• Travel with the team to support on-site community-based participatory research and clinical activities.
