Job summary

AMD in Austin, TX is seeking an HSIO Validation Engineer to validate PCIe Gen5 interfaces and HSIO links. You will work across pre- and post-silicon validation, device interoperability, and customer deployment within the Data Center GPU Group.

You will develop test procedures, debug with state machines and analyzers, and create automation in Python while collaborating with partners. A strong background in HSIO and PCIe is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong coding skills in Python and test automation.
• Experience debugging high-speed IO interfaces and PCIe protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop test procedures for Functional Validation of PCIe Gen5 interface.
• Hands-on debug with PCIe state machines, logic analyzers, exercisers, and LTSSM issues.
• Develop automation in Python to improve validation efficiency.
• Engage with external partners for tools development and debugging.
• Communicate program status through technical reporting.
• Drive milestones and customer deliverables.
