Jacobs in Houston, TX is seeking an Architect-Associate to design and administer building projects across data centers, commercial and advanced manufacturing sectors. You will research, plan, design, and manage programs while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with technical leads.

This is a hybrid US opportunity: remote work with reporting to a local Jacobs office for team meetings; occasional travel to project sites in the United States may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience using Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe suite.
• Extensive experience with building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedules.
• Ability to work well across multiple teams and lead small architectural teams.
• Ability to travel to project sites in the United States.
• Preferred: Master's degree, architectural licensure in multiple states, LEED AP.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellence in all phases of projects—from planning through construction administration and close‑out—while maintaining firm-wide quality standards and collaborating closely with technical leadership and engineering discipline leads to understand design intent and outcomes.
• Mentor less experienced professionals and lead small architectural teams.
• Collaborate with technical leadership and engineering leads across multiple teams.
