Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Architect-Associate for a hybrid, nationwide U.S. role. You will research, plan, design, and administer building projects across data centers, commercial, and life science sectors, mentoring teammates and collaborating with engineering leads.

The position requires a Bachelor of Architecture and 5+ years of experience, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe suite, plus strong knowledge of codes and budgets. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe suite.
• Extensive experience with building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedules.
• Ability to work well across multiple teams and lead small architectural teams.
• Ability to travel to project sites in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellence in all phases of projects—from planning through construction administration and close-out—while maintaining firm-wide quality standards.
• Collaborate with technical leadership and engineering discipline leads to understand design intent and outcomes.
• Mentor less experienced professionals and work across multiple teams.
• Lead small architectural teams and ensure coordination across disciplines.
