Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) is seeking a Data Analytics Developer Intern for Summer 2027 in Columbus, IN. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to enterprise data, analytics, AI/ML, Power BI, and data consolidation while collaborating with IT Data & Advanced Analytics teams and mentors.

You’ll explore AI solutions, data discovery, data engineering, and analytics to generate insights and business visuals.

Qualifications

GPA of at least 3.0 required or expected in current program.
Currently enrolled in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of handling high-volume data analytics.
Experience applying technology to data analytics projects is preferred.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Work on new AI solutions and how to incorporate them into systems and front ends.
Data discovery at TMHNA (core business systems, new digital initiatives).
Data Engineering - learn to extract data and develop data pipelines.
Data Analytics - model extracted data and combine with current data to derive insights and visuals for the business.
Leverage data from IoT, telematics and other digital initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
