Job summary

INSPYR Solutions seeks a Data Analyst to partner with stakeholders, collect and clean data, and support BI and data science projects. You will perform descriptive analyses, create data definitions, and ensure data quality across datasets, using SQL, Python or R, and visualization with Power BI or Excel.

The role is open to hybrid work in Pensacola, FL or in the Washington DC metro area (Winchester or Vienna, VA). 2–5 years of experience required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of data analysis and reporting experience.
• Strong SQL, Python or R scripting and data cleaning skills.
• Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, CS, engineering, or related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and other analysts to understand data needs and perform data collection, processing and cleaning.
• Conduct data quality audits and analyses to ensure deliverable integrity.
• Identify and compile data sets to support business outcomes and predictions.
• Document data collection, cleaning, and governance procedures for transparency and reproducibility.
• Compute descriptive statistics to support BI and data science projects.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and senior staff to influence decisions.
• Collaborate with team members on analytics projects and initiatives.
• Write data queries for smaller analytics projects.
