Auditor Of State is looking for a Data Analyst 1 to join the Data and IT Audit (DITA) team. You will collect, prepare, analyze, and interpret financial, operational, and compliance-related data used in audit engagements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist higher-level data analysts in audit data analytics projects.
• Collect data from financial systems and prepare data for analysis.
• Prepare narratives describing data preparation methods.
• Assist in delivering data tests and audit procedures.
• Examine and interpret data to help automate audit tests.
• Execute data scripts and queries and analyze financial data.
• Review data results to ensure proper compliance with procedures.
• Document work showing evidence of scope, timing, and findings.
