Job summary

CHS Inc. in Inver Grove Heights, MN, is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support a range of BI projects. You'll work with a team of Business Intelligence Analysts, helping optimize systems, increase efficiency, and support key business goals.

This internship starts May/June 2027 and offers a hybrid schedule (3-4 days in the office). You'll gain hands-on experience with Snowflake, APIs, Power BI and Dataiku, build dashboards, document data models, and communicate insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Business Analytics, MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain, or related degree at an accredited institution, entering junior or senior year, or recent graduate.
• Training/Experience with Microsoft suite of tools – e.g. Teams, Outlook, Excel, Power Apps, Power Automate.
• Experience with Data visualization tools – e.g. Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent communication skills, customer focus, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated with confirmed leadership abilities, presentation skills, and ability to function in a team-oriented environment with resource and time constraints.
• A passion for customers, analytics, and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Data Extraction and Integration: Retrieve data from different sources (Snowflake, databases, APIs, spreadsheets, etc.). Clean, transform, and integrate data to create a unified dataset for analysis.
• Dashboard and Report Development: Design and build interactive dashboards/reports using tools such as Power BI and Dataiku.
• Documentation and Maintenance: Document data models, and BI solutions for future reference and maintenance.
