Job summary

PMMC is seeking an Associate Level Data Analyst in Charlotte for hybrid, full-time work focused on data analysis, testing, validation, and maintenance of claims and payment data for assigned clients. You will ensure timely, accurate delivery of data to PMMC systems and adhere to best practices and organizational goals.

The role requires 1–5 years in data-related roles, strong communication, healthcare revenue cycle knowledge, and proficiency with SQL Server and data import/export.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, healthcare administration, finance/accounting, CS, or IT.
• 1–5 years in data analysis, testing, interfacing, systems analysis, or related hospital/healthcare finance roles.
• Proficiency in data import/export and Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
• Experience with healthcare revenue cycle and 837/835 files.
• Strong communication for documenting work and client communication.
• Ability to write and interpret basic Transact SQL.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain clients using PMMC Contract PRO, Estimator PRO, and Contract PRO for recovery services and consulting projects.
• Begin utilizing, writing, and maintaining the department’s Transact SQL library.
• Monitor daily client imports through the Auto Import process for outsourced clients, addressing data issues.
• Assist IT staff in establishing and troubleshooting data transfer issues.
• Utilize healthcare ANSI standard formatted data feeds for PMMC imports.
• Identify, report, and document software defects in PMMC products with solutions.
• Familiarize with PMMC Contract PRO and Estimator PRO products for projects and data specs.
• Utilize scripting and programming languages for day-to-day tasks and data solutions.
• Understand project management basics as they relate to PMMC products and delivery standards.
• Manage Auto Import setup and error resolution processes.
• Handle Financial Exports steps and processes.
