Job summary

Saxton & Stump, LLC in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in a hybrid role. You will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of firm data, and support IT security initiatives reporting to the Director of Information Technology.

You’ll work across networks and systems, perform vulnerability assessments, manage security controls, participate in the Information Privacy and Security Committee, and help

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a cybersecurity analyst or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of network and cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Familiar with cyber security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events, logs, and incidents to identify threats.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and regular security assessments.
• Participate in the Firm’s Information Privacy and Security Committee.
• Mitigate and document cybersecurity incidents.
• Maintain security systems (firewalls, IDS, antivirus, encryption).
• Develop and update incident response plans and procedures.
• Investigate incidents, perform forensic analysis, and contain risks.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and best practices.
• Provide guidance to internal teams on security matters.
• Collaborate to ensure regulatory compliance and implement security controls.
