Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst in Dearborn, MI to support security monitoring and incident response across cloud, embedded, and connected systems. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or security operations.
• At least 2 years of hands-on cybersecurity or security operations experience.
• Working knowledge of incident response lifecycles and escalation processes.
• Experience with API security and cloud security operations (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Understanding of cloud logging, monitoring, and identity workflows.
• Exposure to embedded or connected systems and willingness to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication for documenting incidents.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced 24x7 security environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring and triage of cybersecurity alerts and potential security incidents.
• Support incident coordination, containment, remediation, recovery, and closure activities.
• Investigate security events across cloud applications, connected systems, and embedded environments using logs and telemetry.
• Analyze security events and correlate information to assist investigations.
• Support consistent monitoring and incident response processes across teams and regions.
• Maintain effective handoffs and continuity for active security incidents.
• Identify opportunities to improve detection logic, monitoring tools, and alert quality.
• Collaborate with IT, security, engineering, and security teams to execute incident response playbooks.
• Maintain documentation of incidents, investigations, findings, and resolutions.
• Work in a fast-paced, 24x7 SOC environment with shift-based coverage.
