Job summary

Salt River Project, a leading public power and water utility serving the greater Phoenix area, is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a temporary full-time role. The position involves handling customer inquiries, updating account information, and coordinating with municipalities to establish and administer services.

Training is provided, with a hybrid work arrangement after onboarding, including in-office and remote days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Experience as a Customer Service Rep. or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Receive, research and resolve inquiries, complaints and requests from customers involving rates, policies, practices, and products and services.
• Research and update customer account information to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Establish new accounts and coordinate services and programs with municipalities.
• Process field orders and dispatch field personnel as needed.
• Handle cashiering duties including payments and daily cash reconciliation.
• Work with internal departments to accomplish tasks and ensure customer satisfaction.
