Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required.
• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology with documented CT training or cross-training program.
• Advanced CT certification required within one year of hire date.
• State license to practice radiologic technology in Virginia outpatient facilities.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiology and CT exams and verify orders.
• Perform radiology and CT procedures across age groups with competency.
• Transport patients when needed and maintain safety standards.
• Adhere to departmental policies and ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain RIS and radiology information systems proficiency.
• Supervise and instruct students and support MWH School of Radiologic Technology.
• Document procedures and assist with timely billing.
