Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is assisting a leading international AmLaw 25 law firm to hire an Associate Attorney for its Technology Transactions & Digital Assets Practice Group. The role focuses on cryptocurrency and blockchain commercial transactions, advising innovative companies, investors, platforms, and emerging tech businesses on licensing, platform agreements, SaaS, and strategic partnerships.

The candidate will work with market leaders in the digital asset space and handle complex technology

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 2–5 years experience in technology transactions and commercial contracting.
• Strong background advising technology, fintech, blockchain, or digital asset companies.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency regulatory frameworks and compliance considerations.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
• Strong organizational skills and multi-matter management.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, and document complex technology and commercial transactions involving blockchain and cryptocurrency businesses.
• Advise clients on technology licensing, platform agreements, SaaS arrangements, and commercial contracts.
• Counsel digital asset and blockchain companies on legal, regulatory, IP, and risk management considerations.
• Support development and launch of innovative products and technology platforms.
• Analyze transaction structures and identify practical solutions to complex challenges.
• Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, regulatory, IP, tax, finance, and litigation practices.
• Work directly with founders, executives, investors, and in-house legal teams on strategic initiatives.
• Monitor developments in cryptocurrency and blockchain regulation to provide proactive guidance.
