Job summary

CBEM LLC in Covina, CA is seeking a Critical Intervention Specialist to provide crisis support, develop Stabilization Plans, and coordinate with Psychiatry, BCBA, and Psychologist. This full-time exempt position requires a Master’s degree in MFT, MSW, Counseling, Psychology, or ABA and at least one year of experience with challenging behaviors.

Onsite interview. You will join a team dedicated to compassionate care for individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in MFT, MSW, Counseling, Psychology, or ABA.
• One year of experience working with persons with challenging behaviors.
• California driver’s license in good standing with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management.
• Develop a Stabilization Plan and Case Review.
• Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist.
• Participate in a hotline rotation to address acute crisis calls.
• Participate in clinical trainings.
• Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings.
