Job summary

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related field may substitute for up to four years of experience.
• Seven years of related experience, including three in marketing/public relations/communications with public-facing work.
• Ability to work legally in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead communications strategy and campaigns for an assigned group, department, program, or portfolio.
• Own the proactive external communications agenda, identifying stories, campaigns, and public-facing content.
• Meet with leadership to translate priorities into communications objectives and strategic plans.
• Advise leadership on opportunities, risks, messaging, and public response.
• Write speeches, talking points, briefing materials, and other leadership communications.
• Support development, measurement, and execution of department goals and public initiatives.
