Alter Domus, located in Chicago, seeks an Associate II for Credit Services and Cash Management. The role supports underwriting, reconciliation, and client service across banks, commercial lenders, and private equity funds.

Ideal candidate has a finance/accounting background with 2+ years in commercial credit; strong Excel/Word skills; and a collaborative, detail-focused mindset in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a commercial credit analyst or underwriter.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Completion of a formal credit training program is a plus.
• Experience with SBA/USDA lending programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and process distributions via wire, ACH, or check.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of accounts with bank records.
• Analyze borrower and guarantor financial statements and loan covenants.
• Assist with credit reviews and due diligence packages for commercial credits.
• Onboard new clients including collection of KYC documentation.
