Eastern Bank invites you to join its formal credit training program in Boston. Hybrid role with 2–3 days in the office at 125 High St, Boston, MA. The program lasts two to three years and builds expertise across lending groups.

The Credit Analyst will spread financial statements, prepare independent credit analyses, and participate in the credit approval process while gaining exposure to commercial lending teams and credit committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Detailed understanding of accounting.
• Excellent organizational and writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet research.
• Outstanding critical thinking, presentation, and communication skills.
• 1-2 years of experience in financial fields is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Spread financial statements using internal financial analysis software and create independent credit analyses of loan requests.
• Prepare credit memoranda in conjunction with credit approval and review.
• Analyze risks of ACH transactions and the Bank’s vendors.
• Attend Credit Committee meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Contribute to loan loss reserve research and related projects.
