Job summary

FinOps Weekly is seeking a Lead to own the commercial and financial performance of a multi-channel messaging portfolio (SMS, MMS, RCS, Email, WhatsApp). You will manage vendor contracts, pricing data, and market tracking while collaborating with Sales, Pricing, and Product teams to protect gross profit.

You will analyze costs, advise on pricing strategies, and produce cost-focused reporting to enable profitable pricing decisions across regions and product lines.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced data analysis experience with tools like Looker and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and own tasks through to completion.
• Direct experience in CPaaS messaging, specifically SMS and RCS.

Responsibilities

• Own vendor contracts and ongoing relationships with messaging providers.
• Maintain pricing and cost sheets, updating them as supplier pricing changes.
• Review pricing, margins, and customer volume to support strong regional rates.
• Negotiate vendor terms for bespoke customer pricing requests.
• Provide pricing input for RFPs and custom commercial proposals.
• Produce reporting on costs and pricing to support decisions.
• Track SMS and RCS offerings, pricing trends, and market changes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Vendor Management, Sales, Pricing, Product Management, and Partnerships.
