Job summary

NACBA, based in the East Bay, seeks a CPA with 3–7 years in public accounting to lead client assignments, reviews and financial turnarounds. The role includes coaching and directing team members to meet client, firm and personal development goals within a supportive hybrid environment.

You will interact with Controllers, CFOs and owners, handling reviews, financials and related projects across engagements.

Qualifications

• Licensed CPA with 3–7 years of public accounting, audit and tax.
• Experience preparing reviewed and compiled financial statements.
• Experience managing compilation, review or audit projects.
• Experience interacting with Controllers, CFOs and owners.
• Proficient with tax, audit and accounting software (ideally CCH).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven mentoring and leadership of growing teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting.
