Advantage Group in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking an Audit & Accounting Supervisor (CPA/EA) to lead client engagements within a well-established firm. The role focuses on organizing assignments, reviews, and financial statements, with hybrid work expectations.

You will mentor and direct a growing team, interact with CFOs and owners, and oversee tax and audit projects using industry-standard software such as CCH Engagement or Caseware.

Qualifications

• Licensed EA or CPA with 7+ years of experience in public accounting, audit and tax.
• Experience preparing reviewed and compiled financial statements.
• Experience managing Compilation, Review or Audit projects.
• Experience with client interaction at CFO and Ownership levels.
• Professional proficiency with tax, audit and accounting software (ideally CCH Engagement or Caseware).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated success mentoring and leading growing teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage client assignments, reviews, financial statements, and related projects.
• Coach, mentor, and direct team members to meet client, firm and personal development goals and deadlines.
