Qualifications
- JD degree and active licensure in at least one state.
- Experience in insurance defense, litigation, regulatory compliance, or administrative law preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with above-average multitasking and quick adaptation.
- Critical and analytical thinking and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide counsel and training to claims departments on coverage matters.
- Prepare coverage opinions and memoranda on claims topics.
- Oversee litigation and declaratory judgments and supervise outside counsel.
