Qualifications

• Prior cost accounting experience in manufacturing required.
• Strong understanding of standard costing and variance analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report manufacturing costs, variances, and margins for multiple product lines.
• Maintain and improve standard cost models, BOMs, and cost allocation methodologies.
• Support monthly close with inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, and journal entries.
• Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering to understand cost drivers and savings opportunities.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses for plant and product cost structures.
• Monitor and explain production variances, scrap, and efficiency metrics.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls for inventory and cost accounting.
• Develop dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives with financial insight.
• Support internal and external audits with cost and inventory documentation.
