Job summary

Dean Street Law LLC in West Chester, PA is seeking Corporate Law interns to support multimillion-dollar mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, IP contracts, trademarks, and disputes. Interns work directly with senior lawyers and cross-functional stakeholders, including the CEO and Founder.

Responsibilities include drafting documents, researching regulatory issues, and managing communications with clients and opposing counsel.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate program at an accredited university.
• Undergraduate GPA above 3.6; exceptions may be made for students with relevant legal experience.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and G-Suite.
• Preferred skills include proficiency in LexisNexis and WestLaw.

Responsibilities

• Team Communication: Report progress on client work and ask questions in team calls and Slack.
• Drafting: Assist with drafting various legal documents for multimillion-dollar M&A transactions.
• Corporate Governance: Support entity formation, conversion, and filings.
• Legal Research: Conduct research on regulatory requirements and case law using AI tools.
• External Communications: Draft emails to clients, opposing counsel, and relevant parties.
• Administrative Work: Improve CRM and maintain charts and files in G-Suite, Asana, Slack, and Dubsado.
