Job summary

The Fresh Market Inc. is seeking a Corporate Affairs Manager for our Store Support Center in Greensboro, NC. This role leads external communications and public affairs across the United States, aligning with Cencosud’s guidelines to protect and enhance the company’s reputation.

You will supervise media relations, develop content, monitor public sentiment, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective engagement with authorities and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of external communications, media relations, or corporate affairs experience in multinational US companies.
• Proven experience in media management, journalistic and corporate writing.
• Knowledge of digital content management, social media listening, and online conversations monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Execute external communications and public affairs strategy in the US.
• Lead media relations and engagement with strategic stakeholders to boost visibility and reputation.
• Develop regional community engagement strategies with local leaders and NGOs to mitigate impacts and promote social initiatives.
• Develop high-quality content: press releases, speeches, Q&A, briefs, and institutional materials.
• Coordinate with external agencies to ensure quality and consistency of messaging and outcomes.
