Capital Group is seeking a Core Operations Manager within the ADAPT team in Irvine. You will oversee fund accounting trade flow, expenses, distributions, and NAV generation, collaborating with both insourced and outsourced providers.

You will lead a team of up to 10 associates, translating strategic priorities into clear actions while driving improvements in controls, service quality, and scalability. The role emphasizes partnership across functions and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in investment operations, fund accounting, asset management, financial services operations, or a related field.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience, including developing talent and leading teams through change.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund accounting trade flow, expenses, distribution, and NAV generation in both insourced and outsourced models.
• Lead through portfolio and market activities, new fund launches, and non-standard events affecting these capabilities.
• Translate requirements, risks, options, and trade-offs across internal teams and outsourced providers to align on practical solutions.
• Direct people management for a team of up to 10 associates.
• Influence across functions and leadership levels to achieve broad results.
