LGES Vertech, Inc. is seeking a Controls Software Engineer in Westborough, MA. You will develop and maintain control applications for AEROS EMS and Power Plant Controller platforms, using C++ in a Linux environment and model-based code generation.

Work with a cross-functional team, applying power system fundamentals and software engineering practices. The role emphasizes design, testing, and documentation, with hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite).

Formación

• Solid power system fundamentals and control theory basics.
• Experience tuning PI/PID controllers via coursework or prac­tice.
• Hands-on programming in at least one language.
• Ability to plot and interpret engineering data.
• Curiosity, initiative and willingness to learn new concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement control algorithms for battery energy storage systems.
• Develop real-time control software in Linux using C++ and model-based code generation.
• Create simulations to analyze system behavior and verify requirements.
• Run software tests in simulation and on lab/project-site systems.
• Document designs, decisions, and test results clearly.
