Job summary

Trane Technologies in New Jersey is looking for a seasoned project manager to lead HVAC/BAS projects from scope to completion. You will oversee technical teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Construction PM and 3+ years of related experience. A strong emphasis on budgeting, scheduling, and communication supports successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management degree is a plus.
• Experience leading teams with mixed technical skills.
• Strong resource and manpower planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client satisfaction by addressing concerns, implementing corrective actions, and communicating project status.
• Review contracts to identify risk and mitigation plans.
• Manage all project finances including cash flow, forecasts, costs, and revenue; monitor expenses and reconcile costs.
• Oversee subcontractors, RFQ process, awarding subcontracts and tracking execution.
• Coordinate with technicians and subcontractors to define tasks, schedules and progress reviews.
• Lead change order management and coordinate with sales/estimating teams as needed.
• Oversee project administration, risk mitigation, compliance, documentation and safety guidelines.
