Job summary

Easy Automation, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician/Engineer to support projects from sales through installation. You will write PLC and HMI code and provide phone-based support, with occasional after-hours duties.

The role requires an electrical background and PLC programming skills, a 2- to 4-year degree in related fields, and a valid U.S. driver’s license with passport. Travel to Canada is required. Hybrid/remote options available after training.

Qualifications

Requires an electrical background and PLC programming proficiency.
Two- or four-year degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Controls & Robotics, or equivalent.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain them).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with our controls team to take projects from the initial sales order through to the completed installation.
Write custom code for PLC and HMI programs.
Troubleshoot customer problems over the phone, during normal business hours, and provide after-hours support as assigned.
Work with EAI development team to produce innovative solutions for various industries.
Develop and enhance challenging and unique projects.
Additional duties as needed.
