Job summary

Yablon & Associates LLC in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Procurement Contract Specialist - Contractor to oversee sourcing, contracting, vendor management, and purchasing activities. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement aligned with policies and controls.

The role requires negotiating and administering various agreements, including software licensing, leases, consulting, and SLAs, across the full Source-to-Pay lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience covering the full Source-to-Pay lifecycle.
• Minimum 3 years of contract negotiation experience.
• Working knowledge of Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) principles and best practices.
• Experience negotiating and administering various commercial agreements: software licensing, equipment leases, consulting and professional services, subscription agreements, and SLAs.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with analytical and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements and identify procurement strategies.
• Manage supplier and stakeholder relationships throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Lead procurement activities from supplier qualification through negotiations and contracting.
• Conduct sourcing initiatives, RFx processes, and strategic projects.
• Negotiate terms that provide value, service levels, and risk protection.
• Develop productive supplier relationships and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor vendor performance and drive improvements in processes and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with policies, governance, and risk-management standards.
• Coordinate with internal SMEs when specialized expertise is needed.
• Analyze purchasing data to support decision-making and identify trends.
• Maintain accurate documentation with confidentiality and integrity.
