Job summary

Ryan Companies Inc. is seeking a Project Manager I to support hybrid roles in Milwaukee and Chicago.

You will assist with project administration, budgeting, scheduling, and subcontracting while collaborating with superintendents, owners, and designers to maintain timelines and cost controls. The role requires at least 4 years in commercial construction, a related bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with Microsoft Project and PM tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in commercial construction
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project and other project management tools, estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing

Responsibilities

• Participate in owner/client sales presentations
• Assist in design development, budget preparation, and project scheduling
• Share job cost responsibility and keep supervisor informed of efforts
• Prepare and control budget, schedule, and bid documents; negotiate and award subcontracts; assist in profit projections
• Conduct jobsite coordination meetings and produce job status reports
• Perform project close-out duties including final cost, punch list, final billing, and collection of fees
