Job summary

Inovalon seeks a Compliance, Risk and Business Manager to advance the company’s compliance posture within a healthcare technology and data environment. You will partner with Legal, Privacy, Security, Procurement, Product, Operations and Commercial to identify, assess and address enterprise regulatory risks and ensure policy adherence.

This hybrid role is based at our Bowie, Maryland headquarters with two onsite days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and additional in-office presence as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• 8+ years in compliance, risk management, legal operations, internal audit or related field
• Experience with third-party risk management and vendor governance
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and privacy considerations
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical risk terms
• Experience coordinating risk assessments and audits

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate healthcare compliance and risk initiatives across the Company.
• Conduct compliance and risk assessments with Legal, Enterprise Procurement, Security, and other teams.
• Identify, assess and address healthcare regulatory and compliance risks across operations, products and regulatory changes.
• Lead and coordinate enterprise and product-specific compliance reviews and related activities for regulatory compliance.
• Track remediation initiatives, validate completion, identify trends, and escalate issues as needed.
• Support third-party risk identification, assessment, and mitigation by implementing policies and controls.
• Develop, monitor and enhance compliance metrics, dashboards and trend analyses.
• Prepare and present compliance and risk reports to senior management with insightful metrics.
