Job summary

Uxbridge Employment is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager for a fast-paced professional services client in the UK. This role focuses on consumer, marketing, and promotional compliance, advising on campaigns and ensuring lawful, fair, and commercially viable activities.

You will review campaigns, identify risks, provide practical guidance, monitor regulatory changes, and develop training for colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

• Legal degree required.
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent client and stakeholder communication abilities.
• Ability to explain complex regulatory requirements to non-lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Review client briefs for marketing campaigns and consumer-facing activity.
• Identify legal, regulatory and reputational risks early.
• Advise on promotional mechanics and customer communications.
• Draft and review terms and conditions and compliance docs.
• Provide guidance on consumer protection and marketing requirements.
• Monitor changes in advertising and data protection rules.
• Translate legal information into practical guidance for non-legal audiences.
• Develop internal compliance resources and training materials.
• Coordinate with international teams and external advisors.
