Job summary

CalPERS is hiring a Compensation Compliance Analyst I in the Employer Account Management Division. The role supports compliance with the Public Employees’ Retirement Law and related regulations, acting as a liaison across CCR and other divisions, and handling data analysis and legal documentation.

The position emphasizes research, stakeholder education, and preparation for administrative actions, with telework up to 40% and a permanent full-time arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience collecting, analyzing data sets to assess risks and impacts.
• Ability to prepare legal correspondence, memorandums, and other documents.
• Ability to research labor policies, agreements, regulations and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical liaison between CCR and other CalPERS divisions regarding myCalPERS functionality.
• Collect, analyze and summarize data to determine operational risks and impacts.
• Prepare legal correspondence, memorandums, and other legal documents.
• Research and analyze written labor policies, agreements, etc.
• Educate and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders on compliant compensation.
• Conduct analytical reviews to prepare RLA and serve as a CalPERS witness.
