Job summary

McGough is seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team in Roseville, MN. You will craft content across platforms, shoot photos and video on site, and contribute to campaigns with guidance from seasoned professionals.

You'll gain real-world communications experience, mentorship, and the chance to build a portfolio while supporting events and intranet/newsletters. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $27.00 per hour with hybrid office attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to create visual content using camera or mobile devices.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create content for multiple platforms (social, reels, stories, email campaigns, internal communications, marketing materials).
• Write and edit copy for different audiences and channels.
• Capture photos and video on jobsites, events, and office settings.
• Assist multimedia content from concept to final production.
• Post and schedule content across social platforms while keeping brand consistency.
• Support events and company initiatives with planning and on-site help.
• Stay current on social trends and digital best practices.
