The Major League Baseball Players Association seeks a communications intern for a six-month, full-time placement with a hybrid workout in New York City. The role supports day-to-day media and public relations activities and contributes to labour, licensing and not-for-profit initiatives across the association.

Responsibilities include drafting summaries, distributing press releases and maintaining media lists, with Spanish fluency preferred but not required.

Qualificações

• Recent college graduate with a degree in one of the listed fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and general internet research.
• Knowledge of Major and Minor League Baseball Players.

Responsabilidades

• Support day-to-day media, public relations and related activities.
• Monitor news and conduct biographical, organizational, and topical research.
• Draft and edit issue summaries, analysis and reports.
• Distribute press releases and maintain the media list.
• Contribute to the communications objectives of the association's activities.
• Take on special communications projects as needed.
