Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
• Up to six months of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in internal communications, news, broadcasting, or marketing.
• Experience with graphic design, word processing, desktop publishing, web design, or presentation software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategize, review, edit, and produce communications materials for target audiences.
• Assist with web page design, maintenance, and content management.
• Research and conduct interviews to generate materials for traditional and digital media.
• Create and schedule social media content.
• Represent the Honors College at designated events.
• Collaborate with other areas of the Honors College to support communications and marketing needs.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
