Job summary
An engineering and consulting firm is seeking a Commissioning Field Specialist I to lead commissioning activities, troubleshoot complex issues, and manage project execution. This role involves significant travel (up to 75%) and requires expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, along with strong communication and organizational skills. Qualifications
Two years' experience with installation, hands-on testing, validation and troubleshooting of mechanical, controls and/or electrical infrastructure.
Minimum five years’ additional experience with mechanical, controls and/or electrical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Lead on-site inspection, validation, functional testing, verification and troubleshooting.
Direct vendors/contractors in execution of testing.
Develop commissioning plans and procedures.
Skills
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and controls system principles
Skilled at using MS Office Suite
Ability to analyze and prepare documents
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work successfully in a remote environment
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline
