Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Commercial Property Lawyer for a prominent law firm in Welkom, Free State. The role involves advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development projects, managing a portfolio of complex property transactions.

The ideal candidate is admitted as an Attorney or Conveyancer in South Africa with at least six years of experience, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and a strong grasp of sectional title legislation.

Qualifications

• Admitted as an Attorney or Conveyancer in South Africa.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience specialising in commercial property law.
• Proven track record in handling significant commercial property transactions and complex lease agreements.
• Strong understanding of South African property law, conveyancing, and sectional title legislation.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and client management skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in relevant legal software and conveyancing systems.
• A commitment to serving clients in the Welkom area and surrounding regions of the Free State.

Responsabilités

• Handle all aspects of commercial property transactions including due diligence and sale agreements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements for retail, industrial, and office spaces.
• Provide guidance on property development, zoning, and land use regulations.
• Manage portfolios of commercial properties for clients with asset management input.
• Conduct legal research and advise on complex property law matters.
