Job summary

Snell & Wilmer in Las Vegas is seeking a Commercial Litigation Paralegal with 3–5 years of experience to join its Commercial Litigation practice group. The role involves assisting attorneys across all phases of complex cases, including contract disputes, real estate, construction, and consumer lending, with in-office work during training and a hybrid schedule thereafter.

You will manage case files, draft pleadings, coordinate discovery, perform e-discovery tasks, and support trial readiness

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree and paralegal certificate from ABA-accredited paralegal training program or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in a law firm environment.
• Experience with Relativity (RelOne) is a plus.
• Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal software platforms, along with Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong understanding of litigation processes, including federal and state rules of procedure.
• Substantive knowledge of the litigation process and e-discovery, including document collection, review, and production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization and maintenance of case files, including electronic document management.
• Draft and edit pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other court documents for attorney review.
• Coordinate and assist with discovery efforts, including document collection, review, and production, and maintain privilege logs.
• Utilize e-discovery platforms (e.g., Relativity) to manage, analyze, and produce electronic evidence.
• Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy and draft summaries of findings.
