Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• 2+ years of commercial litigation experience.
• Experience handling business disputes, breach of contract, partnership disputes, real estate litigation, or complex commercial matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Prepare witnesses, experts, and clients for trial.
• Negotiate settlements and assist with dispute resolution efforts.
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide strategic counsel throughout litigation matters.
