We are seeking a dynamic and driven Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team in a hybrid role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional who has a strong background in commercial insurance, account management, customer service, risk management, policy analysis, client relations, policy renewal, along with a deep understanding of property and casualty renewals, certificates, and proposals. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, providing exceptional service and expert advice. This role offers a unique blend of remote and in-office work, offering flexibility and the opportunity to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your primary responsibilities will include

  • Managing a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring all client needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Analyzing client's insurance needs and providing tailored policy recommendations.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Working closely with the risk management team to identify potential risks and develop effective strategies to mitigate them.
  • Handling policy renewals and modifications, ensuring clients are always adequately covered.
  • Preparing and presenting proposals to both existing and potential clients.
  • Issuing certificates of insurance and managing any necessary adjustments or cancellations.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to provide clients with the most accurate and relevant advice.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Commercial Lines Account Manager role, you should have

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance, specifically in account management, customer service, risk management, policy analysis, and client relations.
  • Proven experience in handling policy renewals, property and casualty renewals, certificates, and proposals.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a natural ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain complex insurance concepts to clients.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using insurance software and digital tools.
  • A Property and Casualty license is preferred.
