Job summary

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead seeks an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to manage an assigned book of business, lead the marketing and renewal process with carriers, and supervise junior staff within the Commercial Lines department. The role is hybrid, requiring three days in the office and two remote.

You will own client relationships end-to-end, partner with Producers on new business calls and renewals, and coordinate claims resolution with carriers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Commercial Lines role at an agency or carrier.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School diploma acceptable.
• P&C Producer License required (state as applicable).

Our client, a Top 5 National Broker, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive. This individual will be directly responsible for managing an assigned book of business, leading the marketing and renewal process for new and existing accounts, and supervising and developing junior technical staff within the Commercial Lines department. This role will be Hybrid with 3 days in office and two remote.

Position Outline

• Own client relationships and manage the assigned book of business end to end
• Lead the marketing and renewal process, including obtaining quotes and claims experience from carriers and preparing final marketing proposals
• Supervise, train, and develop a team of technicians, including identifying skill gaps and building ongoing training plans
• Partner with Producers on new business calls, renewal meetings, and onboarding of newly assigned accounts
• Serve as liaison with carriers on claims resolution and processing delays
• Attend service and management meetings, industry events, and client meetings as needed
• Local travel required to visit clients

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in a Commercial Lines role at an agency or carrier
2. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; High School diploma required
3. Property & Casualty Producer License required (state as applicable)
4. Full working knowledge of Commercial Lines products and the insurance marketplace
5. Prior experience supervising or mentoring a team is a plus
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
7. Exceptional oral and written communication skills
8. Ability to manage a high volume of marketing proposals within tight timeframes
9. Strong judgment and ability to work independently under pressure
10. Ability to drive to client sites as needed; valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
