Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking a Claims Examiner to join the Shared Services Team. You will investigate, evaluate and resolve commercial first and third party low complexity claims with documentation, regulatory alignment, and timely resolution.

The role requires strong communication, Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint proficiency, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Hybrid work model, base salary range $72,000–$90,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 3–5 years’ experience handling commercial insurance claims.
• Hands-on experience with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Knowledge of ImageRight preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; strong influencing, listening and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong time management and organizational skills.
• Texas Claim Adjuster license preferred, but required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and resolve various types of commercial first and third party low complexity claims.
• Provide and maintain exceptional customer service and ongoing communication to stakeholders through the life of the claim.
• Conduct thorough investigation of coverage, liability and damages; document facts and maintain evidence.
• Review and analyze supporting damage documentation.
• Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements in applicable jurisdictions.
• Establish appropriate loss and expense reserves with documented rationale.
• Demonstrate efficiency through timely and quality claim handling practices and guidelines.
