SMBC seeks an experienced Technology Lead to drive COI and Control Room technology platforms and related compliance initiatives. The role partners with Compliance, Data, and Tech to deliver identification, workflow, and auditability solutions across regulatory programs.

The candidate should manage lifecycle delivery, vendor relationships, and cross‑functional teams, while advancing automation and AI‑based improvements for scalable compliance tech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technology Delivery, Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or related field.
• Strong understanding of COI, Control Room, MNPI, employee compliance, or related functions.
• Experience delivering enterprise applications, regulatory tech, surveillance, compliance, or risk management.
• Proven ability to manage initiatives from requirements through implementation and production support.
• Understanding of system integrations, APIs, data architecture, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Audit, Front Office, Operations, and Technology stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills to translate requirements into tech solutions.
• Experience managing vendor-delivered solutions and cross‑functional delivery teams.
• Knowledge of Agile, SDLC, governance, testing, and change management processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; able to present to senior governance.

Responsabilités

• Lead the delivery and enhancement of COI, Control Room, and related Compliance Technology solutions.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into tech solutions.
• Drive initiatives through full delivery lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, production rollout.
• Manage vendor relationships, technology teams, and business stakeholders for project success.
• Define and oversee system integrations, data sourcing, data quality controls, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and data teams for scalable solutions.
• Monitor progress, risks, issues, dependencies; provide clear communication and escalation.
• Support production issue management, releases, testing, and post‑implementation activities.
• Develop and maintain documentation: BRDs, functional specs, flows, SOPs.
• Drive automation and AI‑based improvements and continuous delivery practices.
