University Hospitals in Ohio is seeking a Coding Compliance Specialist II (Hybrid) to perform coding and documentation audits across specialties, ensuring accuracy of billing in line with payer guidelines and national benchmarks.

The role collaborates with providers and staff to address audit findings, implement corrective actions, and develop tools to prevent risk. Required credentials include CPC/CPC-H/CCS/CCS-P or RHIA/RHIT and an Associate's Degree, with 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• 3+ years related experience in physician coding and/or auditing.
• Less than 1 year related experience in provider education.

Responsabilités

• Perform reviews of internal data reports to identify coding and documentation risk that need auditing.
• Plan and conduct routine compliance audit reviews including chart audits.
• Audit coding and documentation materials for compliance with laws and contracts.
• Research and develop compliance tools and resources for internal use.
• Collaborate with staff to address audit findings and remediate risks.
• Participate in annual risk assessment and work plan development.
• Lead process improvements for Compliance & Ethics procedures.
