Job summary

University of Michigan is seeking a CME Shared Services Operations Specialist to serve as an operational partner for the Office of Continuing Medical Education & Lifelong Learning. The role delivers centralized administrative and operational services to CME programs across Michigan Medicine and affiliated health systems.

The specialist manages workflows in MiCME/CloudCME, maintains compliance documentation, and coordinates processes across departments and sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in healthcare administration, education, public health, business, or related field
• Minimum two years of experience in program operations, healthcare or academic administration, or similarly complex environment
• Experience with learning management systems, databases, or enterprise software platforms
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to customer service
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and sound professional judgment

Responsibilities

• Manage CME activities within MiCME/CloudCME, including intake, setup, registration, tracking, and close-out
• Provide centralized administrative and operational support across departments and affiliates
• Configure and maintain templates and system settings for consistent operations
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of activity and learner data
• Maintain audit-ready activity files, disclosures, and compliance records
• Support reporting, dashboards and operational metrics with finance/data teams
