Swoop Technologies is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join our hybrid team in Minneapolis/St. Paul or Washington, DC, working in-office 3+ days per week. You will help automate deployments across AWS, on-prem, and cloud environments, aligning with our CI/CD pipelines and security standards.

You'll build Terraform provisioning, container orchestration with Kubernetes, and monitoring with Prometheus, while collaborating with security and engineering teams to optimize performance and reliability.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in cloud provisioning and management.
• Understanding of basic software security standards, CI/CD configuration, and gitlab.yaml buildouts.
• Code containerization (Dockerfiles), orchestration (Kubernetes), Terraform, AWS deployments, and Prometheus monitoring.
• Linux, CentOS, Windows knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Active US Security clearance or willing to be sponsored.

• Build automation for cloud resource health monitoring.
• Work with security engineers to ensure NIST/STIG compliance.
• Automate cloud provisioning with Terraform and Ansible.
• Streamline deployment, run, and testing of code in cloud.
• Enable scaling mechanisms for performance and efficiency.
• Support code and resource updates for client installations.
• Collaborate with client engineers to monitor resources.
